Rocky Fence Vineyard
is situated on 20 acres of a western-facing slope on the Snake River Plain, bordered by the Payette River and the foothills of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Our organic table grapes are grown at the highest elevation of any vineyard in the valley, enjoying hot and sunny days, with a cool mountain breeze descending over the vineyard at night; perfect weather for growing diverse table grapes over a long harvest period with maximized sweetness, naturally.

We rely heavily on compost, fish, and kelp for growth and vigor. We are dedicated to sustainable organic agriculture, and achieved our USDA Organic certification in 2004.

We are experienced exporters of table grapes to Taiwan and Singapore.

We are especially proud of our organic wine grapes. Our goal is to excel at growing one white wine variety, viognier, and one red wine variety, tempranillo.We believe these two varieties capture the essence of our rich soil, high elevation, and arid river valley conditions. Both harvests are sold exclusively to CINDER WINES. We are honored to be the single vineyard source of Cinder's 2008 Tempranillo Northwest Wine Summit's Gold Medal.
